Hello, 

My name is Karina. I am a self-taught artist living in Virginia Beach, VA with my three kids and husband @artofkg who is an artist, turned baker. ( @angiesbakeryvb on Instagram)

Through my art career I have focused mainly on portraits but have started venturing out into design for surface and textile. 

​

My drawings and paintings are mostly inspired by human emotion and elements in nature. I want to capture feelings, thoughts and moments. I use art as a form of meditation and expression. Whether it be sad or happy, anger or passion, etc. - I hope to be able to communicate healing energy through my art and connect with others who may be feeling the same way. 

 

My designs carry my love of plants and organic patterns, surrounding me with what feels like a calm and quiet that I naturally gravitate towards. Some of my designs are available through my Society6 and Roostery links.
